Tesco is one of the largest grocery retailers with outlets across United Kingdom, Europe, USA and Asia. Tesco began its business in 1919 with one man Jack Cohen as a stall in East End of London. First Tesco store opened in 1929 in north London. Tesco now has over 2200 stores in the UK. Its original product range of grocery and general merchandise has diversified to include banking, insurance services, electrical goods as well as telephone equipment and airtime.
